The Accounting Standards Review Board (ASRB) exists with an overall objective of contributing to the improvement and the quality of external financial reporting in the public and private sectors for the benefit of users and to assist preparers and auditors of financial reports.
In fitting with ASRB’s objectives, a clean, professional image was required for the new site, to portray the role that ASRB plays within the national and international accounting community.
Branding collateral was established by e-Xpert for the online sphere, to accurately capture ASRB’s role and purpose. With the site serving as a secure area where board members are able to log in to access private information and documents, it was essential that this area be easily accessible to board members, while not dominating site retail space viewed by the wider community.
While providing Board member access to secure, private information, it was also necessary for public information to be displayed clearly, particularly in terms of the Communiqué and press releases, as well as other documents and systems informing interested parties on the Accounting Standards Review Board’s standard operation process. This was achieved through simplification of the site’s information hierarchy and establishing logical navigation for all interested parties.
