Jigsaw

Jigsaw is a national organisation focused on the wellbeing of all New Zealand children and their families. The diverse group of independent, community-based social service agencies that make up the Jigsaw network, advocate against all forms of child abuse, neglect, and family violence and provide support to families so they can raise their children in safe and nurturing ways.

The brief to expert was to design a clean and professional aesthetic website to reinforce Jigsaw's main objective in advocating against all forms of child abuse, neglect and family violence. The website 'look and feel' and content was to provide, 'Positive Parenting Messages'. The new website design coincided with Jigsaw's new branding, combined with a rethink of the existing information architecture of their previous website. An intuitive navigation structure was devised, focused on simplicity. Given the diverse target audience utilising the Jigsaw website, usability imperative.

The Jigsaw website also makes use of secure Intranet areas for members. Previously a once static information-based website has been transformed into an online user platform for Jigsaw members. Jigsaw, and their member agencies all over New Zealand, can now communicate more effectively and frequently to one another in one centralised area. The jigsaw website is hosted by expert's hosting platform, iBOX and powered by MoST, Content Management System. Expert and MoST has empowered Jigsaw to take control of their own website presence, including the promotion of their latest campaigns online.
